At &Mother, we believe that motherhood should never be a barrier to pursuing athletic goals. We are committed to breaking down the societal and institutional barriers that too often force women to choose between career, competition, and caregiving. Our mission is to create a world where no woman has to choose between being a mother and an athlete.
Through advocacy, awareness, and collaboration with race directors and organizations, &Mother works to ensure that family-friendly practices—such as lactation support, on-site childcare, deferral policies, and more—are normalized across the industry. By driving systemic change, we aim to empower women to fully participate in sports and to thrive as athletes and mothers
Our ultimate goal is a sports culture that embraces mothers, values caregiving, and ensures that every athlete, regardless of their parenting journey, has the opportunity to compete and excel.
